Private market opportunity

The most compelling opportunities are rarely listed.

Public markets are a narrowing slice of the real economy. Most of what compounds sits in private hands, reached through networks rather than tickers.

Above / below the waterline

What you see listed is the tip.

Of U.S. companies with revenue above $100m, roughly 13% are publicly listed. The remaining 87% operate privately, out of reach of index funds and screen-based access.

What we do

Disciplined research for institutional review.

Domus researches, screens, prepares and introduces private-market opportunities against defined investor mandates. We remain independent of the companies and sponsors we assess.

01 /

Research & screening

We source through proprietary networks and market scanning, then test commercial viability, management quality and preliminary financials against mandate criteria.

02 /

Opportunity materials

Institution-ready opportunities are supported by an investment memorandum, financial model, structured data room, risk matrix and legal and compliance pre-review.

03 /

Investor introductions

Only opportunities that clear the documented five-gate process are shared with verified professional investors under NDA.

04 /

Transaction coordination

Domus coordinates each opportunity through to closing; fund flows, administration, custody and escrow sit with regulated providers.

Investment professionals reviewing an opportunity

Independent by design

Companies do not pay to enter the pipeline. Domus is remunerated by investors only, on completion.

Where we look

Sectors

We look for durable businesses and real assets that meet institutional criteria. Mandates are researched globally, with a European regulated wrapper for structuring.

01

Mid-market operators with defensible market positions and clear operational upside.

02

Energy transition

Infrastructure-grade renewables, storage and enabling technologies with contracted revenue.

03

04

Real assets & infrastructure

Yielding real assets and infrastructure-linked platforms with institutional characteristics.

The origination engine

One disciplined path from raw opportunity to institution-ready.

Every opportunity passes five successive gates. Only a small proportion advances at each stage. An Investment Committee reviews outcomes at each gate; documented decision-making governs what advances.

“Companies do not pay to enter our pipeline and cannot pay to advance. Progression is decided by a documented Investment Committee process.”

Domus works exclusively for investors. Our research, screening and selection are remunerated by investors only - we accept no fees, commissions or other remuneration from companies or sponsors in respect of opportunities we research or introduce.

Remuneration is success-based and disclosed in each investor mandate before any commitment. Post-introduction structuring, governance, reporting and custody sit within the regulated structure, independently of Domus.

Our role is precise. Research and introduction services only. Domus does not provide investment advice, portfolio management or brokerage.

How investor mandates work

Each investor is onboarded under an Investment Sourcing Mandate: a confidential, anonymised investor profile recording sectors, geographies, ticket size, return targets and process preferences. Domus researches and screens opportunities against the mandate and presents only what fits. Remuneration is success-based - payable only when an introduced opportunity completes.

Frequently asked questions

Clarity before engagement.

Domus works with verified professional investors, family offices and institutions. Verification is completed before opportunity-specific information is shared.

Minimum tickets vary by opportunity and structure, starting at USD 500,000. Your sourcing mandate records the ticket range you are prepared to consider, and Domus presents only opportunities that fit.

After an introductory conversation, professional-investor verification and an NDA, selected opportunities are presented through an investor brief with supporting memorandum, financial model and data room.

Domus is remunerated by investors only. Remuneration is success-based, payable only when an introduced opportunity completes, and disclosed in the investor mandate before any commitment.

No. Companies do not pay Domus to be researched, prepared or introduced, and cannot pay to advance. Progression is governed by the documented Investment Committee process.
